I took this picture at the zoo. I really liked the fuzzy bumblebee so I decided to take a picture of it. My settings were ISO 320, f-4.5, TV 1/1000. I wish I wouldve been a little closer to the bee so I could see a little more detail on the bee.

This is my cute little grizzly bear. Haha just kidding Dave this is a black bear we saw up in Yellowstone. This photo was shot with a Canon Powershot SX40 ISO 400 f5.8 TV 1/100. I am very excited with this photo because my main goal in Yellowstone was to shoot bears and this bear was a lot closer than the grizzly bears we tried to take pictures of. I believe I underexposed this just by a little bit because the bear was more of a cinnamon color than this photo shows but other than that I wouldn't change anything about this photo.

Lightning pictures have always mesmerized me and one day I will hopefully be able to take a lighting picture worth being excited about. This one is one of few that I actually succeeded in capturing the light. Although this isn't the most impressive lighting picture out there I am still proud of the picture I took. I took this on my Canon Powershot sx40 when I was messing with my settings.

This photo is one I found on http://sfappeal.com/2013/08/more-lightning-expected-to-strike-bay-area-tuesday-afternoon-evening/. This lighting photo is one I hope to replicate some day instead of my very boring barely any lighting pictures.

Fly geyser was on MSN last Thursday and I was disappointed I couldn't blog about it last week. This geyser is in Nevada. This was unearthed in 1916 because they were digging wells. The color is created through the minerals. I would really enjoy going to this geyser and taking pictures. This picture of the geyser struck me as something I want to duplicate. I love the details of the geyser in the picture while the dark sky brings out the colors. The sunset is beautiful in the background. I would really like to go to Nevada just to take this picture. I found this picture at this linkhttp://bestplacevacation.com/the-fly-geyser-las-vegas.html
